Parking map for upcoming St. Patrick’s Day festivities

The Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns to Lower Greenville this Saturday, March 16. M Streets residents are bracing themselves for ensuing crowds and traffic woes as 100,000 people are expected to attend the festivities this year. The pictured street map from the City of Dallas website highlights official street closures, traffic flow, and parking restrictions south of Mockingbird.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Greenville Avenue and Wellons Drive and finish up at SMU Boulevard. Greenville Avenue will be begin closing down between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. for the parade.  Attendees in search of avoiding parking headaches can access the parade conveniently by a short walk from the Lovers Lane or Mockingbird DART stations.
