Safety Fair, Tietze Pool party set for Saturday

The Dallas Police Department presents its annual Kids Safety Fair Saturday, May 21, from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Northeast Substation, 9915 E. Northwest Highway near Buckner. Everything is free, including children’s ID kits, care safety seats, a bike rodeo, face painting, costumed super heroes, tours of a police helicopter and Dallas Fire rescue vehicle, and even some food.

Meanwhile, from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Tietze Park, 6115 Llano, will be celebrating National Water Safety Month by opening its pool for water safety demonstrations, home pool safety info, free swim lesson level evaluations. All events are free and open to all-comers.
