New kolache joint opens on Lowest Greenville

Bohemian 1

There’s a new kid on the Lowest Greenville block. The Bohemian Cafe, a new coffee shop/bakery concept by neighbor Jason Horne, opened this morning in the spot where Jack’s Southern Comfort used to be.

The shop, which is located next door to Shivas Bar & Grill, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and aside from a variety of fruit-filled kolaches and kalobasnek (aka pigs in a blanket), they also have vegan options, plus coffee, tea, juice, beer and wine.

There’s a stage for live music, which they will have every night until close at 10 p.m. or midnight on Friday and Saturday night.

the management and staff are great, but not enough food options.

kolaches were good but the music was a bit too loud for a Sunday morning. Hard to have a conversation.

I was just complaining that there are no kolache stores in Dallas! Excellent news.
