Bank of America’s philanthropy program encourages giving back to local communities through neighborhood excellence. The employees of the Lakewood branch bank at 6215 Gaston invite the Lakewood/East Dallas Advocate readers to come into the lobby and help raise money for The American Heart Association. The “Lakewood Ladies” will be hosting a bake sale Friday, Sept. 3 from 9AM – 4PM, and Saturday, Sept. 4 from 9AM – 1PM.

So while you’re making a deposit, or if you just want to help out a good cause, buy yourself a little treat and get to know the ladies at the bank.
